Death

When your character dies in Definya, they will incur a penalty, but don't worry, it's not too harsh! The penalty is designed to be light for low-level players, while still having a significant impact on high-level characters.

Equipment Drop

There's a 15% chance of dropping every equipped item.

Inventory Loss

The second penalty is the chance of dropping some of your inventory. The chance of this happening is also based on your character's level at the time of death.

The following table shows the chance of dropping some of your inventory based on your level:

Experience/SP Loss

The first penalty is the loss of experience points (XP) and skill points (SP). The penalty is calculated based on the character's level at the time of death.

The following table shows the percentage of XP and SP that the character will lose upon death based on their level:

Notes

  • If your level is between a range, always consider the next level. For example, for experience loss, if you're level 7, you're going to lose 2% of your experience. If you're level 9, you're going to lose 3% of your experience.
